Chef Matthew TaylorChef Matthew Taylor started his professional culinary career at an upscale Italian restaurant in Champaign-Urbana, Ill., with further study at Silvercreek Restaurant outside of Chicago. A move to Missoula, Mont., landed him at Marianne's at the Wilma under Chef Charles Davidson; they featured wild game and locally raised lamb and beef, winning numerous awards for local-food cuisine.

Matthew is currently the Executive Chef at Wendigo Lodge, where he makes every effort to bring wholesome and local foods to his customers.
